Beech Mountain Resort
The highest ski resort on the East Coast, Beech Mountain Resort continued the trend of summertime upgrades. With six additional snow guns this winter, Beech Mountain’s snowmaking capability hasn’t been better. Throw in a revamped lighting system for nighttime skiing, renovations to the View Haus, free lessons and a brand new fleet of gear, this year is expected to be the resort’s finest.

SKI & SNOWBOARD LESSONS
The professional ski and snowboard instructors at Beech Mountain Resort have a wealth of experience combined with a sharp focus on customer service. Whether you want to master more advanced techniques, or try skiing or snowboarding for the first time, our team of experts can customize lessons to suit all ability levels.
Registration begins at 8:30am and is located in the Ski & Ride School building. A slope pass and equipment are required to sign up for group and private lessons.

Burton Learn to Ride Center
Whether you’re a beginner or progressive rider, you’re never too old to learn new tricks. Burton’s ‘Learn to Ride’ program makes getting on a snowboard fun and easy. With high-quality gear made specifically for beginners, the best hands-on instruction and a low pressure learning environment, our goal is to get everyone up and running before they know it!

First Traxx is an all-day ski program for students aged 6-14. Whether it is their first time on skis, or they are already skiing the entire mountain, kids will benefit from this expert instruction. Students are grouped based on age and ability level with a focus, as always, on safety, fun and instruction.
Daily registration for all instruction programs begins at 8:30 and is located in the Ski & Ride School building.
Cost: $95 per child (Includes Instruction, Equipment, Slope Pass, Helmet, Snacks, Breaks, and Lunch)
Snow Kamp provides a positive and fun first-time experience for kids ages 3-5. The program provides all day childcare, combined with an introduction to a winter wonderland of activities. Your child can play and, when ready, receive quality coaching from our team of trained instructors. It’s a three-phase lesson plan all about safety, fun and instruction. This program is a great way to familiarize your child with the mountain, and it includes lunch and snacks.
Cost: $110 Per Child (Includes instruction, equipment, slope pass, helmet, snacks, breaks, and lunch)
All programs are on a first come first serve basis.
Beech Mountain Resort features a 7000 square foot outdoor rink located in the center of the Beech Tree Village giving it the best ice skating atmosphere in the region. Ice skating is an excellent activity for everyone in your group or family. Children 4 and under skate free with paying adult. Ask about our group rates.
Munchies snack shop offers a cozy atmosphere near the rink for watching skating as well as an arcade and pool table. Planning a birthday party? Our birthday party package offers pizza and drinks for $16 per person and $5 per person not skating. Call ahead to plan your party, not available Saturdays or Holidays.
