Row your boat along Price Lake and enjoy a relaxing day on the calm waters of the Blue Ridge Parkway by renting a canoe, rowboat or kayak. Price Lake Boat Rentals, an outfitter based on the edge of the 47-acre lake, rents canoes and rowboats for $13 per hour, kayaks for $10 per hour and double kayaks for $13 per hour.
Price Lake Boat Rentals has an inventory of Madriver, Old Town and aluminum Grumman canoes and single-person Jackson and Ocean kayaks with lifejackets. The Ocean kayak is for solo anglers, while the capacity of other boats are three adults; two children and two adults; and one adult and three children.
From May 21st to September 2nd, boat rentals will be available daily between 9am and 7pm. Renters must be 16 years old and have a valid ID. In addition to boats, the outfitter sells firewood, drinks and snacks. Only cash or check is accepted. If you plan to fish, make sure you have a fishing license.
